Q: Why Tumblr?
A: In 2009, the idea of blogging without much thought and sharing the things you love was ground breaking. I still believe in so.
Q: Why ‘Hoyisko’?
A: I’ve changed my url so many times. It used to be ‘hoyiskongbaliw’ but I thought it was too long, demeaning and misleading. Contrary to popular belief, I’m not crazy. I think I’m perfectly sane and everyone else is insane. So ‘hoyisko’ is shorter and better.
Q: Are your posts original?
A: Some of them are, most of them are reblogs. I don’t get the idea of ‘new’ tumblr bloggers going about the net of how lame reblogging is and about how lame rebloggers are. Not reblogging defeats the purpose for which tumblr was conceptualized in the first place. Also, I don’t tweet on tumblr.
Q: What do you post?
A: Whatever comes into my mind. I try to post everyday an original art using MS-Paint and a mouse. Sometimes I post pictures of my doodles and rarely, I post photographs. Most of the time I reblog the things I love. Surely, I don’t tweet on tumblr.
Q: What are the things you love?
A: I have an odd taste for the weird, bizarre and morbid. I don’t like it when it becomes too overly explicit though. I appreciate doodles and drawings. I love to read well written posts though I have no patience for very long text posts. I believe there are better venues for those.
Q: Who do you follow?
A: I follow just about anybody. I will easily follow back. I’m particularly interested in eccentric artists and unconventional writers.
